The Cracked and Smoothed Surfaces

Date: 26th & 27th May Time: 11:30am -1:30pm A friend approached asking me how to make a Dorodango ball as he was doing an activity around it. I was completely fascinated after learning about it. Two days workshop for learning how to create a cracked Surface and form an article with it. I have been asked for a long time to take a day workshop to show how to create these cracks. Now while making this structure, the thought appeared, why don't I add the technique just opposite it it as well. Masking the surface smooth as glass to complement the cracks. When Clay can be full of techniques, tried a bit mindfully it can help us experience so much more than just a mere techniques. What will the workshop offer: -Learn to create a cracked Surface -Guided making of one simple article of your own design. -Learn how to highlight the cracks. -Making a Dorodango ball (as you see in the pictures) -Adding a color of your choice from few given options. (Red, green, Yellow etc...) -Learn how to shine the ball like the picture if not more.😊 Enjoy repeating the same at home whenever you want to destress. PS: The Dorodango ball can be taken home right after the workshop ends. It will not go through the firing process. Cracked surface articles can be collected after the firing , Expected by 3-4 weeks from the workshop date..
