What's in a Mask (20 years & above)

Date: August 6th & 7th, 2026 Time: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm Two days workshop of learning how to make a mask using your own face as template and decorate it in your own way. There will be a guide present to support you through out the process. This is a very unique and alive experience to witness. It's more than just the technique. When Clay touches your face it's an experience of touch that is unique to every individual. If this is your first time with clay or if you are an experienced practitioner, converting that layer of clay into a piece of ART that hold so much meaning to yourself gives it a whole new perspective. The thrilling experience of creating your own mask and witnessing it to go through the whole processes of coming out as a fired permanent piece from a lump of clay. Still fragile as the medium is clay but stronger & richer with experience and texture. So similar with who we are isn't it. How we go through so many life experience that builds us to who we are. Still somewhere we keep acknowledging our soft fragile inner self. That's what make us so beautifully human. Book a slot to experience this very unique process of connecting with clay and connecting with your own self in a very creative, raw, earthy way. After you finish working with the mask it will go through the firing process. You can collect the glazed mask once it has gone through the firing process. Or, You can chose to take it home right after you finish the workshop. Or, put it in water to let it become clay again.I leave this up to you.
